MISTAKE WEAR RETURN, REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Mistake Wear offers a flexible return and exchange policy, allowing you to return or exchange items purchased on our website within a specified 7-day return/exchange window for all Mistake Wear products.

The return and exchange process becomes active within 24 hours from the time your product is delivered.

How to raise a return or exchange request:

  1. Sign in to your Mistake Wear account using your registered email ID or through Facebook or Google.

  2. Select the “Orders and Returns” section from the customer drop-down list.

  3. Choose the order you wish to return or exchange and select either the “return” or “exchange” option.

  4. A pick-up request will be raised, and you’ll receive email/SMS notifications on your registered email ID/phone number.

  5. Track your return/exchange status anytime in the “Orders and Returns” section.

Our delivery team will complete the return or exchange within 5-7 business days from the date of your request.

Mistake Wear provides continuous updates via email and SMS throughout the return/exchange process.

Return, Refund and Exchange Guidelines:

  1. Items must be unused and returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact (e.g., shoes must be returned in their original box). Give items to the delivery executive undamaged.

  2. Refunds (excluding the ₹99 delivery charge) will be initiated only if all quality checks are passed during doorstep inspection, based on Mistake Wear’s policy.

Quality Check Parameters:

  • Products must be returned in original packaging.

  • All protective materials and labels/tags should be intact.

  • The item must be unused and as received.

  • There should be no signs of wear, stains or damage.

  • Include all manuals, warranty cards and paperwork.

  • Return all accessories that came with the product.

  • Complete the seller’s (Mistake Wear) authorization process.

  • Return within the specified 7-day period.

  1. Delivery charges are non-refundable for all COD orders and prepaid orders below ₹799. For COD orders, delivery fees apply at checkout.

  2. There’s no COD option for orders below ₹799 or above ₹2999.

  3. On returns or cancellations, the paid amount (including tax) will be refunded, but handling charges remain non-refundable.

  4. For size mismatch or defective item, Mistake Wear will send a replacement free of cost.

  5. Under the Exchange Policy, you can exchange for any size of the same item or for a different item of the same or higher value. Exchanges for lesser value aren't allowed.

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability and serviceable location.

  • Pickups may be limited to selected pin codes. If your area isn’t serviceable, contact customer care at mistakeweear@gmail.com for help.

  1. If you don’t hand over the product within 7 business days of raising the request, it will be cancelled.

  2. Quality checks are done during pickup for quick processing. Used items or products that don’t meet exchange criteria won’t be eligible; in such cases, the product will remain with you and the request cancelled.

  3. If your purchase included a free gift/offer, you must return both the main product and all additional gifts as part of the return.

  4. The Mistake Wear policy does not apply to special offers and promotional schemes—these have separate terms. For queries, contact our support team.

  5. For missing, incorrect, or damaged products, unboxing video footage is required to claim returns or exchanges.
